About Wheels Set in Motion
Each comic I’ve written thus far, including these, may have been more of an exercise in writing than an entirely serious project. Whether I expand on this, start anew with a longer-term collaborator, or both, I’m happy with the direction this has taken.
As a creator, I have imposter syndrome. Sometimes it feels like no matter how hard I work at things, there are always people who are “better.” However, I know they were once in the same place I am now. If I work hard at honing my skills, I will certainly improve.
Looking at the comic above, I’m so proud of what I was able to write. I have more resources and know-how than ever. I can also write and format a script in general. A few years ago, that was completely foreign to me. It won’t be long before I write an entire issue if I just keep going while studying along the way.
Anyone reading this can similarly do whatever they set their minds to. It certainly takes time and devotion but just know that we all start as novices.
